American Salad

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rub a salad bowl with Spanish onion.

  2. Slice the cold boiled potatoes, apples, and celery, occasionally drawing the knife through the onion for flavor.

  3. Arrange the sliced ingredients neatly in the bowl.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks, salt, sugar, mustard, and cayenne.

  5. Rub the mixture smooth and gradually add double cream until desired consistency is reached.

  6. Add vinegar drop by drop to taste.

  7. Garnish the salad as desired.
