Ingredients

Directions

  1. Warm the sweet milk and melt the butter in it.

  2. Beat the eggs (yolks and whites together) and mix with the milk.

  3. Add a little flour and salt, then mix in the yeast until thick enough to stir.

  4. Set the mixture in a warm place to rise overnight.

  5. If needed, stir in a little baking soda and water 15 minutes before baking.

  6. For drop cakes, keep the batter stiff; for rings, make it a little thinner.

  7. Thoroughly mix the baking powder with the flour.

  8. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar and egg.

  9. Gradually add the milk, then stir in the flour until stiff enough to hold shape.
