Hard-boiled eggs
Add creamy richness and body, with the yolks blended smooth by the mustard.
Mustard
Adds sharp, pungent flavour that balances the richness of the eggs and butter.
Melted butter
Adds fat that gives the salad a rich mouthfeel and carries flavour.
Celery
Adds crisp texture and fresh, slightly sharp flavour against the soft meat and eggs.
