Roast Pork

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Cut off the skin and excess fat from the pork.

  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  3. Place the pork in the hot oven and cook for 15-20 minutes.

  4. Pour boiling water over the pork and sprinkle with sage, pepper, and salt.

  5. Baste frequently and cook the pork for a long time for better flavor and health benefits.

  6. Do not make gravy as it will be too greasy.
