Jelly Roll

Ingredients

• sponge cake mixture (as for lady-fingers)
• jelly

Directions

1. Prepare the sponge cake mixture as you would for lady-fingers.

2. Bake in a shallow pan for 20 minutes.

3. While the cake is still warm, trim the edges and spread jelly over the surface.

4. Roll the cake up tightly and wrap it in a towel.

5. Place it in a cool place until ready to serve.

6. Slice with a sharp knife before serving.
