Directions

Prepare the meat

  1. Boil the chicken and pork together, seasoning with salt while cooking.

Ranks compare each pair with 20,000 random ingredient pairs on CompKitchen. How we score pairs

What each ingredient does

Chicken
Forms the main body of the salad and provides its savory meaty flavor.
Celery
Adds crisp texture and freshness that contrasts with the soft meat.
Salad dressing
Adds moisture and richness that binds the chicken and celery together.
Lean pork
Adds extra meaty flavor and body alongside the chicken.

The step that matters

Combine with dressing sparingly. Too much dressing makes the salad wet and soggy, while too little leaves it dry. Celery released moisture and dressing soaks in, so add just enough to coat the pieces.

Swap the celery

How well each one fits the dish's main ingredients (chicken, pork):

  1. Garlicfits better
  2. Thymefits better
  3. Gingerfits better
  4. Celerythe original

Fit is the average pairing score against chicken, pork. Candidates are from the same food group and used in at least 100 recipes.
