Ingredients
Directions
Cut stale bread into circles the size of fifty-cent pieces.
Brown the bread in a little hot butter and lay on paper to absorb excess grease.
Stone the olives and fillet half as many anchovies.
Wash and dry the anchovies, then roll each one up tightly and insert it into an olive in place of the stone.
Trim one end of the olive so it can stand upright.
Place a drop of thick mayonnaise on the center of each cold bread round.
Stand the stuffed olive on the mayonnaise and add another drop of mayonnaise on top to cover the opening.
