Cabbage, Stuffed
Ingredients
Directions
Wash the cabbage thoroughly and soak it in water with vinegar for 30 minutes.
Drain, cut off the stalk, and scoop out the heart to create space for stuffing.
Mix sausage meat with chopped chestnuts for the stuffing and press it into the cabbage.
Cover the stuffing with cabbage leaves and tie them securely with tape.
Place the cabbage in a saucepan with bacon slices above and below it, and cover with stock.
Stew gently for 30 minutes.
Remove the cabbage, take off the tape, and place it on a hot dish.
Strain the gravy over the cabbage before serving.
