Tongue Toast

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare slices of bread of equal thickness and toast them.

  2. Spread a layer of seasoned butter, half the thickness of the bread slices, on each toast.

  3. Top the butter with thin slices of salted tongue and let the butter harden.

  4. Use a star-shaped cutter dipped in boiling water to cut out the toast pieces.

  5. Make a rosette of butter in the center of each piece.
