Ingredients

Directions

  1. Clean and dry the fish thoroughly.

  2. Sprinkle the fish with coarse sea salt and black pepper.

  3. Grease a broiler and place the fish inside.

  4. For whole fish, broil first on the flesh side, then turn and broil on the skin side until browned and crisp.

  5. For slices, turn them often while broiling.

  6. Remove the fish to a hot serving dish, spread with softened butter, and garnish with parsley and lemon.
