Orange Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Peel, slice, and seed the oranges.

  2. Make a biscuit crust by mixing flour, butter, baking powder, and milk.

  3. Roll out the dough to less than ½ inch thick.

  4. Cut an oblong sheet twice as long as it is wide.

  5. Lay the sliced oranges on the dough and sprinkle with sugar.

  6. Roll up the dough and bake at 400°F (200°C) until golden.

  7. Serve with sauce.
