Jelly. Blackberry.
Ingredients
Directions
Prepare jelly glasses by placing them on a folded wet towel.
Fill the glasses with jelly, placing a spoon in each glass if desired.
Use fruit that is not overripe for better quality jelly.
To prevent mold, cover the surface of the jelly with ¼ inch of fine sugar.
To test if the jelly is done, dip some into a cold saucer and place it on ice.
If it hardens at the edges without spreading, it is done.
Alternatively, dip a spoonful into a glass of ice-cold water; if it drops to the bottom without mixing, it is done.
