Dried Apples
Ingredients
Directions
Pare the apples and drop them into cold water to prevent discoloration.
Cut the apples into eighths and dry them on frames covered with cheesecloth or coarse netting.
Support the frames in the sunshine, away from flies and dust, and cover them carefully.
Turn the apple pieces over every day until thoroughly dry.
Store the dried apples in paper bags, keeping them away from insects.
