Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Butter a baking dish.

  3. Layer canned corn and rolled crackers in the dish.

  4. Season with coarse sea salt, black pepper, and bits of butter.

  5. Finish with a layer of crackers.

  6. Pour enough milk over the layers to cover them.

  7. Bake until heated through and golden on top.
