Fried Fish

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat enough oil in a deep frying pan to cover the fish.

  2. Test the oil by browning a small piece of bread in it.

  3. Coat the fish with egg, then dip it in bread crumbs.

  4. Fry the fish in the hot oil until the surface is browned.

  5. Remove the pan from heat and finish cooking at a lower temperature.

  6. Lift the fish out using a tray and let the oil drain off.
