Ingredients
Directions
Half cook the artichokes in boiling water, then remove the choke and dry them.
Heat a very hot frying pan and brown the artichokes.
In a bowl, mix chopped suet, mushrooms, parsley, shallots, salt, pepper, and butter or oil.
Stuff the artichokes with the mixture and tie them securely.
Place the stuffed artichokes in a well-buttered baking dish, moisten with broth and white wine.
Finish cooking in the oven and serve with a sauce made from the stuffing ingredients.
