Salt-rising Bread
Ingredients
Directions
In a sweet dish, stir together warm water and salt to create a thick batter.
Beat the batter well and place the dish in a pan of warm water.
Let it rise for 2 to 4 hours until nearly light.
In a separate pan, mix milk and boiling water to make a sponge.
When the sponge is warm, add the rising batter.
Allow the sponge to rise for another 2 to 4 hours.
