Peach Rolls

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Sweeten and flavor the fruit to taste.

  2. Make a baking powder crust and roll it very thin.

  3. Spread the fruit on the crust and add thin slices of butter on top.

  4. Roll the crust up and place it in a pan that is 4 to 5 inches deep.

  5. Add 1 cup of sugar and ½ cup of butter to the pan.

  6. Pour in enough hot water to cover the rolls.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
