Kidney-bean Roast

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

Prepare

  1. Cook the beans as in the previous recipe and sift through a colander.

  2. In a bowl, combine the sifted beans, sifted peanuts, zwieola, salt, sage, and grated onion if desired. Mix all the ingredients together.

  3. If the mixture is too dry, add a little nut milk.

Bake

  1. Transfer the mixture to an oiled baking dish.

  2. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until nicely browned.
