Boiled Carrots

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash, scrape, and slice the carrots crosswise.

  2. Drop the carrots into boiling salted water.

  3. Cook until very tender, which requires prolonged cooking.

  4. When done, they should be nearly dry. If there's too much water, drain some off.

  5. Season with nut cream or pour over egg gravy if desired.
