Crystallizing Grasses and Ferns
Ingredients
Directions
Boil the water and dissolve the alum in it.
Cool the solution.
Tie the grass in small bundles.
Pour the alum solution into a glazed jar or basin.
Suspend the bundles across the jar using sticks so they hang down in the solution.
Let it sit undisturbed for a whole night.
Once coated, remove the grasses and hang them up to drain and dry.
