Beef Steak Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the beef into small steaks.

  2. Roll the steaks up like olives or lay them flat in a dish, mixing fat and lean meat.

  3. Season the meat with salt, pepper, and your chosen spices.

  4. Add ½ cup of gravy or water and 1 tablespoon of vinegar to the dish.

  5. For added richness, include a kidney or two, or a piece of beef kidney.

  6. Optionally, layer forcemeat between the slices of beef or add small balls of forcemeat.

  7. You may also add a few large oysters for extra flavor.
