Graham Biscuit
Ingredients
Directions
The book says “a hot oven”. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps is the modern equivalent, not the book's own figure.
Prepare Graham mush and let it cool.
Mix in enough Graham flour to form a dough that can be rolled out.
Knead the dough for a few minutes.
Roll the dough to a thickness of ¾ inch.
Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
Bake in a hot oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30 to 45 minutes.
Transcribed from a scanned cookbook and modernised for today's kitchens. Where the book gave no heat or time, or said "a moderate oven", the temperatures and times here may be modern equivalents rather than the book's own figures.
