Lamb Pie, in a Dish

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Cut the loin of lamb into chops.

  2. Season the chops with pepper, coarse sea salt, chopped shallot, parsley, and chopped mushrooms.

  3. Layer the seasoned chops in a dish.

  4. Add a little stock between each layer of chops.

  5. Place hard-boiled eggs on top.

  6. Cover the dish with puff pastry.

  7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for one hour.

  8. Once done, add a little stock mixed with coulis on top.
