Directions

Let them stand for about three days until the pulp rises to the top.
Draw off the fluid into another vessel.
Sweeten and finish
For every gallon of juice, add 1 pound of sugar and stir well every day for 10 days.
For every gallon of juice, add 1 quart of water.
For every quarter gallon of juice, add 1 pound of crushed sugar.
Set the mixture on the stove and bring it to a boil.
