Nkw Salads

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Make lemon jelly and pour it into small molds or jelly glasses. Let it firm up.

  2. Carefully turn out the jelly onto lettuce and remove the inside with a warm teaspoon.

  3. Fill the jelly cups with halved and seeded white grapes, and place some around the cup.

  4. Make mayonnaise as stiff as possible, then beat in enough whipped cream to achieve a usual consistency.

  5. Add a spoonful of the mayonnaise mixture by each mold.

  6. For the cherry salad, remove the stones from large black cherries and replace them with hazel nuts.

  7. Arrange the cherries on chilled lettuce leaves and serve with a French dressing made with lemon juice.
