Frozen Oranges

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut a 1-inch round hole in the stem side of each orange and remove the pulp with a teaspoon.

  2. Soak the orange skins in cold water, then drain and scrape the insides smoothly without damaging the peel.

  3. Chop the candied fruits into small pieces and soak them in maraschino.

  4. Mix the soaked fruits with enough orange ice to fill the oranges.

  5. Stuff each orange with the mixture and cover with the pieces you removed.

  6. Place the oranges in a freezer and cover with salted ice for at least 2 hours before serving.

  7. Serve each orange whole on a folded napkin.
