Boiled Apple Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel, core, and slice the apples.

  2. Make a dough as you would for a roll pudding.

  3. Roll the dough into a circular sheet about ½ inch thick.

  4. Place the prepared apples in the center of the sheet and sprinkle lightly with sugar.

  5. Fold the dough over the apples to enclose them.

  6. Put the wrapped pudding into a cloth or bag and boil for 2 to 2.5 hours.

  7. Serve with a hot sauce or rock butter.
