Marble Cake

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Divide the caramel cake mixture into three parts.

  2. Color one part red, another part chocolate, and leave one part plain.

  3. Spoon the colored mixtures into paper-lined cake tins in a marbled pattern.

  4. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) until done.

  5. Remove from the tins and ice with vanilla icing.
