Yeast Bread

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a deep pan, place the flour and create a hollow in the center.

  2. Add 1 quart of warm water, salt, lard, and yeast into the hollow.

  3. Gradually mix in enough of the additional warm water to form a soft dough, kneading well.

  4. Once smooth and shiny, sprinkle a little flour on top and cover with a thick cloth.

  5. Set the pan in a warm place for 4-5 hours or overnight.

  6. Knead the dough again, cover, and let it rise once more.
