Baked Quinces

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Place whole ripe quinces in a pan and bake thoroughly.

  3. Once done, remove the skins from the quinces.

  4. Place the quinces in a glass dish and sprinkle generously with sugar.

  5. Serve with cream.
