What each ingredient does

Vinegar
Extracts the raspberry flavor and adds sharp acidity that gives the finished vinegar its tang.
Fresh raspberries
Provide the main fruit flavor and aroma as they steep in the vinegar.
Raspberry juice
Carries concentrated raspberry flavor and color into the sweetened mixture.
Sugar
Adds sweetness that balances the acidity of the vinegar and gives the syrup body.
