Veal and Ham Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and lard.

  2. Chop the butter and lard into the flour, then add salt.

  3. Make a well in the center and add a tablespoon of water.

  4. Mix with fingers, adding more water until a stiff paste forms.

  5. Flour your hands and the board to prevent sticking.

  6. Roll out the paste with a floured rolling pin, folding it several times.

  7. Roll it out to fit the pie dish, about ¼ inch thick.

  8. Boil water in a small saucepan and add the eggs, cooking for 10 minutes.

  9. Cut veal and bacon into small pieces.

  10. Peel the boiled eggs and chop them.
