Lemonade

Ingredients

Directions

Prepare the lemons

  1. Boil a kettle of water.

  2. Wash the lemons and peel them thinly, avoiding the white pith.

  3. Remove all the pith from the lemons.

  4. Slice the lemons thinly, remove the seeds, and place the slices and half the rind in a jug.

Make the lemonade

  1. Add sugar to taste, about ⅓ cup.

  2. Pour the boiling water over the lemons in the jug.

  3. Cover the jug and let it cool.

  4. Once cold, strain the lemonade into another jug and serve.
