Baked Tenderloin

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In an earthen dish, layer small pieces of tenderloin with water, sprinkling each layer with pepper, coarse sea salt, and summer savory.

  3. Wet the bread crumbs and season them with salt, pepper, butter, and summer savory.

  4. Spread the seasoned bread crumbs on top of the layered tenderloin.

  5. Bake until cooked through.
