Fish, Baked

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare a thick sheet of tin with handles or a simple sheet of tin for lifting the fish.

  3. Rub the tin with fat pork to prevent sticking.

  4. Place pieces of fat pork under the fish.

  5. If you don't have a tin, lay two broad strips of cotton cloth across the pan before placing the fish.
