To Serve Gelatine Jelly

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the gelatin according to package instructions.

  2. Pour a layer of liquid gelatin into a mold and add a layer of fruit, wetting it with some gelatin.

  3. Allow the first layer to harden, then cover with more gelatin.

  4. Repeat the process with additional layers of fruit and gelatin.

  5. For marbled jelly, partially cool the first layer before adding a second layer of a different color.

  6. To make orange baskets, cut the top and bottom of the orange, then scoop out the pulp without breaking the skin.

  7. Fill the orange baskets with liquid jelly or tiny squares of jelly at serving time.

  8. Keep the baskets in a cool place and tie with bright ribbon when filled.
