Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

Prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the veal, melted butter, chopped ham, salt, cracker crumbs, pepper, and beaten eggs. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake and serve

  1. Bake for 1 ½ hours.

  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
