Cod Pie

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare the scallop shells by scouring them clean.

  3. If using fresh oysters, remove the gills and set aside.

  4. If using tinned oysters, drain them and set aside.

  5. Layer the cod and oysters in the prepared shells.

  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the layers.

  7. Bake in the oven until heated through and golden on top.
