Pears of Every Kind

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel and quarter the pears, removing the seeds and husks.

  2. Place the pears in bottles.

  3. Prepare a water-bath and heat it until boiling.

  4. For pears usually eaten raw, boil them just until the water-bath boils.

  5. For pears typically stewed or boiled, let them boil in the water-bath for 5-6 minutes.

  6. For fallen pears, boil them for 30 minutes.
