Fish Pate

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Form a wall of mashed potatoes around a dish.

  2. Warm the flaked fish with a little melted butter.

  3. Brown the potatoes in a 400°F (200°C) oven or before the fire.

  4. Pour the warmed fish into the center of the potatoes.

  5. Cover the top with egg sauce.
