Wine From the Grape
Ingredients
Directions
Gather fully ripe grapes and discard any unsound or immature ones.
Place the grapes in a clean tub and mash the pulp and skins with a wooden pounder.
Put the mashed grapes into a clean cloth or bag and place it in a basket over a tub to catch the juice.
Add weight on top of the pomace and let it sit in a cool place for 2 to 4 days to extract the juice.
If desired, add a little water to the pomace, stir, and apply pressure again to extract more liquid.
