Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Beat the egg whites until well combined.

  2. Mix the fried almonds with the beaten egg whites and other ingredients.

  3. Butter some cups and half fill them with the mixture.

  4. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 20 minutes to ½ hour.

  5. Turn out onto a dish and serve with sweet sauce or sifted sugar.
