Brown Bread

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. If whole meal flour is unavailable, mix bran with white flour in any desired quantity.

  2. Use this mixture to make brown bread.

  3. The resulting bread will be equally good and cheaper than using whole meal flour.

  4. Bake the bread at 350°F (175°C) until done.
