Attar of Roses

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fill a large earthen jar with rose petals, ensuring they are clean and free from dust.

  2. Pour enough pure spring water to cover the petals.

  3. Place the jar in sunlight from sunrise to sunset for six to seven days.

  4. After three to four days, collect the yellow oily matter that floats on the surface.

  5. Use a cotton piece tied to a stick to skim the oil and transfer it into a small corked vial.
