Devilled Olives

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 400°F (200°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Stone the olives and stuff them with anchovy paste.

  2. Spread the biscuits with anchovy paste and brush with oiled butter.

  3. Arrange the olives in circular rows on the biscuits.

  4. Season with pepper and cayenne.

  5. Place on a buttered sauté pan in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve hot on a folded napkin, garnished with parsley.
