Ingredients

Directions

  1. Soak mixed cereals in milk until just moist.

  2. In a bowl, layer chopped dates and chopped almonds.

  3. Continue layering with alternate layers of fruit, nuts, and cereal.

  4. Let stand under a press until firm, draining off moisture.

  5. Turn onto a plate, slice, and serve with cream or milk.

  6. For longer storage, prepare with water instead of milk.
