Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare puff paste and peel the apples.

  2. Cut the apples into quarters and remove the cores.

  3. Roll out a piece of crust large enough for each apple.

  4. Wrap the crust around each apple, shaping them into balls with a little flour on your hands.

  5. Boil a pot of water.

  6. Dip a clean cloth in the boiling water, sprinkle flour on it, and tie each dumpling individually.

  7. Place the dumplings in the boiling water.

  8. Boil for 30 minutes for small apples or up to 1 hour for large apples.

  9. Once cooked, remove the dumplings and place them on a dish.

  10. Serve with melted butter mixed with sugar as a sauce.
