Date Creams

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar thoroughly and knead lightly.

  2. Mold into desired shapes.

  3. For Date Creams, cut out the stones from dates, fill with cream candy, and close carefully.

  4. For Chocolate Candy, divide the cream candy into two parts; mix grated chocolate into one part.

  5. Roll out both parts to ½ inch thick, place them together, roll, and slice into ½ inch thick pieces.

  6. For Nut and Fruit Creams, roll out the cream candy to ½ inch thick, place nut meats in rows, press down, and cut into squares.

  7. Flavor with vanilla and let harden before using.

  8. Serve fruit and nut creams mixed, optionally rolling them in granulated sugar for a glistening appearance.
