Stuffed Apples

Ingredients

Directions

The book gives no oven temperature. The 350°F (175°C) in the steps was added when the recipe was transcribed, as a starting point.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Hollow out the cores of the baking apples.

  3. Stuff the apples with a mixture of chopped dates, nuts, and figs.

  4. Place the stuffed apples in a baking dish and bake until tender.

  5. Serve with whipped cream and a cherry on top of each apple.

  6. Enjoy with lady fingers.
